Error 1607

My Palm Zire connects OK, but when synchronised,
says "Hotsync operation was interrupted...." It has been
OK until now.

My first move was to try to reinstall the Zire software
to the PC in case it got corrupted. When attempting to
reinstall the software from the Zire CD, Windows reports
Error 1607. Unable to install Installshield script
runtime....

How do I fix this?
