InstallShield error 1607

Attempting to install Canon Digital Camera onto XP PRO,
got error:
"InstallShield - 1607 Unable to install InstallShield
Scripting Runtime".

I had installed this product previously on an XP Home
Edition with no problem.
What is the solution?
Help!
