I've just tried to upgrade my iTunes software however when I run the install
programme I get the above message Inst......sing from this machine. If
available please run ISScript.msi or contact your support etc etc. I then get
a -1603 fatal error and the install application closes. It would appear that
ISScript.msi is not on my machine as it can not find it. I not had this
issue before and can not find any help for it. Any suggestions?

Wesley,

I had a similar problem, and resolved it with the file link you so kindly
provided. Thanks.

InstallScript Engine Missing

I have encountered the same problem of not having this installscript engine, when trying to install the new iTunes&QuickTime 7.4.3, I received the same message the first person received, that's why I tried looking for this installer but all links took me to Macrovision page(new name for InstallShield page) and had to download InstallShield 20008 evaluation(since the other versions are not available for downloads) and still I get the same message that this is not in my computer, now I actually need to have this engine since I need iTunes for my iPod 160 GB(since no other player can be used), I've tried everything and still this engine can't be found in my computer, I don't know where in the files of this InstallShield is to run because I've seen and there's nothing like it, do these links also work for InstallShield 2008? or not, is there a page to install this or not? I've tried redownloading and installing iTunes on and on but I still get this message, hope you can help me
