installing xp

When installing a new sata hard drive on my computer I misunderstood some
directions and ended up reinstalling xp on my computer. But I keep running
into the same problem. Every time it gets to the installing networks aspect
it keep freezing on me. So now I don't have an operating system installed
and have no idea what to do. I have tried everything I could think of
including putting in a new hard drive. Nothing has worked it freezes in the
exact same spot every time. With about 32 min left to finish installing.
Any and all ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

1. Try loading Default CMOS options.
2. Check your CPU Temprature and make sure it is not the above then normal.
In my case it should be below 60 Deg. C. between 50 to 55 Deg. C.
3. If you have 2 Seprate RAM Modules try removing one and reinstalling
Windows. If that doesn't help then try the next one or a new one.
4. Check the front panel of your Cabinet and see if your Hard Disk Led is ON
state even if your CPU is not doing any processing. Could be because of a
loose power or data cable or damage data cable. Try changing the data cable
or use other available Power Connectors in your SMPS.

Hope this help, let us know!
