I'm trying to install XP home on a computer and the setup always freezes at 34 minutes after the screen flashes twice, why wont it install?

Intel Pentium 4 CPU @ 1.7 GHz, 128 MB SDRAM, 20 GB hard drive, integrated 10/100 networking, 32 MB ATI® Rage® graphics card, 48X CD-ROM drive.

From what I see there are 3 types of G240 ... I would class all as "beyond economical repair" or use it as a base to learn Linux.

Here is the Dell site

Sorry. :(
