I have two computers. I installed xp pro on one. Can I
install my xp pro on my other one as well? How do I
license a second installation? Specifics please.

Thanks

From what I understand. You can only have XP installed on one machine. If
you have to install it on another machine then you would have to go out and
purchase another copy of XP/Liscense.

Run "winver" program and click on links to "End User License Agreement"
which you agreed with Microsoft for your copy of XP in your country.
You can draw you own conclusion from there.

Should you decide you need to purchase a second copy, see

specifics.

Greetings --

As it has *always* been with *all* Microsoft operating systems,
it's necessary (to be in compliance with both the EULA and copyright
laws, if not technically) to purchase one WinXP license for each
computer on which it is installed. The only way in which WinXP
licensing differs from that of earlier versions of Windows is that
Microsoft has finally added a copy protection and anti-theft
mechanism, Product Activation, to prevent (or at least make more
difficult) the sort of multiple installations you're asking about.
