Installing windows xp

I have a computer running windows 98 . If I buy windows
xp home (not the upgrade)what do I have to do to install
it on the computer?Do I have to be a super techy?I'd
appreciate any help.

Hi D. Edgar,

It should not be too difficult to do this? First question is, do you want
to upgrade your Windows 98 version to Windows XP or do you just want to
install Windows XP from scratch. The latter is slightly more complicated,
but not too hard.
