Using Windows xp, HP950C printer and Epson Stylus Photo R200. I
thought my HP printer was broken so purchased the Epson R200. As I drove
home with the new printer, I thought of one more thing to try to repair the
HP and sure enough, it worked. Now I have two printers.
Is it possible to use both of them with one computer? The HP ink
cartridges are twice as big as the Epson so when printing in black and
white, the HP cartridges would last much longer. Is it possible? Any
suggestions? And if this is the wrong newsgroup, I apologize and please
point me in the right direction.

As long as you'll be able to connect them both to your PC it's not a
problem. The only thing is that you'll have to select the needed printer
every time you print something.

I have 2 printers connected all the time, a photo printer and a
copier/scanner/printer combo. I have the copier/scanner/printer set as the
default and change the default when I print photos. In your case, you would
set the HP as the default printer. You'll find it in the printer options
when you have both installed.
