installing second printer

I have a hp laserjet printer. When I try to install my new dell color printer it disables the hp. How can I install the dell as a secondary printer?

Does it "disable" it, or just not make it the "default" printer anymore.
Which ever printer you want to make "default", on the printer control
panel right-mouse click on it and select "default".
 
I have three (3) printers installed. One Serial and two USB. Use the ControlPanel/Printers and Other Hardware to select which one you want to be the default printer.
