installing scanner on win xp cant do it

I have just got a new computer and it has win xp on it
when i went to install my IBM ideascan 2000 scanner on it
it says that it is only win 98 that it will work on iv
contacted IBM and they have no new drivers for this
system as they no longer produce scanners ( thanks IBM)
can anyone help me

Unless you can get an XP compatible driver, you are out of luck. However,
scanners (mostly USB) are fairly inexpensive these days. I bought a new one
last year for $60 and it has never failed.

Hello

At this point you will have to go out and buy a new scanner
as that scanner is not supported by XP, you already had your
answer by IBM

Sometimes, no promise, 2K drivers will work. Do they have 2K drivers for
your scanner?
