installing printers and cameras

Hi.. I am trying to install a HP camera and an HP printer to a compaq computer using windows XP.. I keep getting error messages that say that the logo for the software i am trying to install has not yet been tested with windows XP and may make changes in my system that would make other devices not work properly... any help is appreciated... thank you..
