Installing Norton

While trying to install Norton security I keep getting " 3rd party
anti-virus found". I have taken out all of McAfee & disabled windows
firewall. What am I missing?

You could still have the registry entries from McAfee still installed on your
PC just goto RUN and type Regedit this will bring up the registry editor.
Look in these folders under Software to see if any McAfee entries are
installed.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
HKEY_USERS

These 3 folders both the folder Software under them jsut look and see. Hope
