Installing Norton Antivirus on a standalone computer

I need to install Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition Version 7.61.934
onto a standalone PC with Windows XP on it. I have already intalled
it on a computer with internet access and run LiveUpdate. The
standalone computer is not allowed back on our network until it has
been cleaned. I tried to install this and when I open the program it
only says "Look for Help" in the tree view window underneath "Norton
AntiVirus Corporate Edition". So I am looking for help! How do I get
the program to scan for viruses and do all the other stuff it is
supposed to be able to do. And if I ever get this to work, how do I
update the virus definition file without connecting to the internet?
Is there a file I can grab from my clean connected computer and put it
on the standalone? I don't see any file that has the date on it when
I ran LiveUpdate.

Is this the right forum to post to, or is there a more appropriate
one?

Thanks for any help,

Jim

you can download definition files from Symantec on a clean computer and copy
them to a disk and take them to the infected machine. There are some
articles on Symantec site that tell how to do this.
