Installing @nd Hard drive

Hi I would like to get instructions on how to install a
2nd hardrive. I have a Compaq 10gb.HD w/XP. I just
purchased a 120gb. I have a CD/RW and DVD/RW as well. How
would I set the IDE cable, Jumpers...etc... Any
assistance would be great. Thank in advance.

Nick, I would remove the Dvd drive. Hook up the new Hard Drive as Master
on the Secondary IDE Channel. Then
move the CDrw drive as slave to the 10G. Drive. After WinXP installs the
new drive OK then you can hook up the dvd
as slave to it. You can format the drive from WinXP.
