Installing MS Works Suite

I have the Microsoft Works Suite 2002 with Money 2002 5-disk set. I'm
doing a reinstall to a new hard drive.

The Works Suite install procedure is to sequentially install all five disks
(disk 1, then disk 2, etc.). But, all I want is Word, which is on disk 1,
and Picture It!, which is on disk 3. Do I have to install disk 2 to get
there?

Disk 2 is Money and Streets & Trips.

Thanks,
Bruce

Select "custom" when installing then select the components you want.
(I have Works Suite 2003, and didn't install Money, Encarter, or Picture
It.)

Of course! (Just like installing Office.)

Thanks much,

I have just upgraded to XP. I am trying to load WS2002. I have loaded all 5
disks. My issue is when I open Word or Spreadsheet, the Setting Image Color
changes to "LOW 8bit."
I can reset the color bit and will stay as long as I am in the program. When
I close out the program and reopen it, it goes right back to the "LOW 8Bit".
How can I get it to stay so that I do not have to change it every time?
