Installing internet explorer 6 SP1

Good afternoon, while upgrading all our servers to IE 6 SP1 we have ran into
one server that will not allow us to upgrade from 5.5 SP2 to IE6 SP1. In the
active setup log we get CheckTrustEx on :C:\IE60SP1\ie6setup.exe: returned
:800b010b which means some type of trust failure, then we get the following
Title:Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1:
Msg:Windows Terminal server needs to be in install mode to continue.
Click OK to continue if you are in install mode, or click CANCEL to abort
the installation.

We get this even when installing at console. We have had other install
issues with this server and do not know really where to begin trouble
shooting this issue

Any help would greatly be appreciated

Thank you

Richard Tracy

Try deleting (remove from where it is) this file and try the install again:

inetwiz.exe in

C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Connection Wizard

I have seen this before.

George thank you for your reply, we finally got it installed, found that
server was running terminal services in application mode which was creating
issues, again thank you for your response
