Issue Installing .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 on Windows XP Computers

Hello,

At my company we are having issues installing .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 on 3
out of 13 of our computers.
We have tried installing the Full version of .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 and the
Bootstrap version but everytime we run the install it gets to 100% and
stalls. There is no error messages or anything indicating an issue.
Could someone please shed some light on what might be causing these issues
and how we can get it installed?

Try the method given in the following KB article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923100/

Follow it to the letter.

Looking in the logs would help figure out exactly what is going on. Can you
follow the steps here to collect all the logs into a cab and share them?

http://blogs.msdn.com/varungupta/ar...4-and-visual-studio-2010-beta-setup-logs.aspx

The cab containing the logs is large so its best if you post it somewhere
like skydrive.
