We are in the process of upgrading to IE6 SP1 on Windows 2000 SP4. We
have run into and issue where we are unable to pring from some web
pages. The eror is comming up as:
Line: 1344
Char: 1
Error: Invalid Proceedure call or argument
Code: 0
URL: res://C:\WINNT\system32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

Do you want to continue running the scripts on this page?

Yes or No

I have seen forums where it has been suggested to replace the
IEPEERS.DLL file. I have tried this with out any change. The version
of the IEPEERS.dll that I have on the machine after installing IE6 is
6.0.2800.1106.

Any other suggestions?

Hi,
one of two of this Option you can try;
1=Try to Clear or Unselect *Encapsulated PostScript* output in the Printer
Name Properties dialog box.
Or Remove * Header and Footer* from Printer Properties, you can do that in
Control Panel, Printer and Fax or read your Printer Documentation for more
Help.

2= Read this article and apply then Reboot your machine;
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=811165
Try one at a time and see if your Issue will resolve.
HTH.
Please let us know.
Regards,
nass

Try this (IE/OE closed).
Start -> Run -> Type "regsvr32 ole32.dll" (without quotes) in the Open
box -> Ok.

Thanks for the reply's guys.

I tried all of them with no sucess. I could not find in the printer
drivers anywere to turn off Encapsulated PostScript or to remove Header
and Footer. I am currently using an HP Laserjet 4 but have tried it on
a multitude of HP and Xerox printer witht the same results.

I tested this the same machine running Internet Explorer 5.5 and it
works fine. Once I upgrade to Internet Explorer 6 SP1 I cannot print
anymore.

I did try turning off the third party browser extensions and rebooting.
This also did not resolve teh issue.

The last thing I tried was tht "regsvr32 ole32.dll". This did not
resolve the issue but the error message reported an error on a
different line this time.

If you have any more suggestions I would be happy to hear from you.

Thanks
