Hello all,

I'm sure the answer is very simple, but ...

When I converted my older machine from Win 98 to XP Home,
I lost the capability of sound. When I look in devise
manager, I have codecs, but no sound devise. How do I go
about getting and installing one?

Thanks for nay help you can provide.

Find the drivers for your soundcard at the manufacturer's site. If you are not
sure who the manufacturer is, or the model number, run the Belarc Advisor, and
it will create a printout with all the info you need. Get it free at
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
