Installer problem

One of Microsoft's Security Updates, namely KB927978, removed a file named
CAPF.msi, thus fowling up the installer. Now, when I download an update for
my antivirus, the installer loops, then says it can't find the above file.
Consequently, the update doesn't get installed. Does anyone have a
suggestion for a solution? I'm using Windows XP Home.

That's very unlikely. KB927978 updates the file msxml4.dll and that's
