Installed updates - now will not boot !

Hi,

I am running Win2k. I just installed the updates that had been
downloaded. Here is what I now get when I try to boot.

It gets to the point where it is applying personal settings then a
window opens in the middle and it says:

"Impossibile trovare il file "C\Temp\InstMsiW.exe" Necessario per
caricare Windows Installer.

However, the computer was setup in English.

I cannot close this window, the mouse still works but I can't get past
this window.

Can anyone tell me how to proceed?
