Installed Outlook Connector and now Outlook 2003 does not work

I can open Outlook and view messages and contacts, but when I try to reply or
create I get:
"The messaging interface has returned unknown error. Restart Outlook."
But, restarting does nothing.
Sometimes I get message "Reinstall Outlook", but I do not have a CD, so not
sure how to do that. I also ran repairs on Office under "Add/Remove"
software, but no change.
Any ideas?

Does it work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

Are you using Word or Outlook as the email editor?
Does changing it help?
