Installations.. Most Freeze

All my recent installions (tries) have all failed. The
installers can extract the files fine just when it gets to
the actual installing that the installer just sits there.
Task Manager doesnt show it as freezing. The only
exception is when i installed delphi 7 enterprise and it
took an extremely long time to install. A few moments ago
I even tried installing updates off
windowsupdate.microsoft.com and it downloaded the 10megs
just fine but when it came to installing it froze. Does
anyone know anything about this? Or have any tips? Thanks

i just tried installing flash mx again and the installer
froze as usual.. but i let it sit for a good 20 minutes
while surfin the newgroup to see if anyone else had the
same problem.. out of nowhere it starts installing.. gets
through all 100% in less than 10 seconds.. there is
seriously something wrong with this..
