Hi, Have formatted the HD in NTFS, using the XP Pro disc, started the
installation, at some point the install stops, and asks for the CD to be
inserted to copy i386 to the HD. The CD is already in the drive, but is not
recognised. I have made several attempts starting from scratch, but each
time this happens.
Any suggestions please.

Are all jumper pins on the drives set correctly,if not adjust,if ok,try moving
a drive to other IDE cable.
