I am installing win xp home to a new hard drive, after
install, I remove the CD and let the computer reboot, but
then "Insert system disk, press enter to reboot" is
displayed, so I replace the win-xp disk, and "windows
setup" starts again. I even tried to partition the drive.
It is a 40gig drive. It just keeps going in this loop.

Hi,

Boot the WinXP CD, load the Recovery Console by hitting "r" at the first
screen. From the command prompt, run "fixboot".
