Installation problems

I have just re-installed WinXP, having left the Programs. Everything
went well until I tried to use a couple of programs which wanted to
re-install. Re-installation stopped when they tried to find
"SLP91.temp" which doesn't exist on my computer or on the WinXP disk.
Searching Google or the MS site is no help. Anyone got any clues? (The
programs concerned are Startman and Registry Mechanic)

Best to contact the support at the software companies who wrote the
software
