Install?

Hi you all, I am a little new at this upgrade thing, I have P4 2400 that is
running XP home but a upgrade from Win98 se and some bad files or some
spybot thing going on that when I ran MS spy program every thing started
going south I don't think it has anything to do with MS but think I should
reformat my hard drive and start over. Now is there a way to install my XP
upgrade with out installing my Win98 and my Win98se upgrade?
If so any info or help would be grate.

Yes, perform a Clean Installation of Windows XP.
You will be asked to insert the qualifying media (Windows 98 in your case)
for a few minutes:
