install with make under windows xp

I am trying to install a file converter package undex Windows XP.
The installation package has make.com and a lot of .sh, .c etc. files.
No .exe setup files.
I have tried with "make", "make al" and "make Makefile" - to no avail.
I mean, a cmd process is created, but it remains idle.
Could anybody help me?

That doesn's seem to be an install file. All SETUP files are .exe

Try visiting the same site and ask there!

Looks like source code and a compiler routine for C under Unix/Linux. You
may have accidentally downloaded the incorrect version for your system.
