I have a 160 GB hard disk and want to upgrade to 500 GB. I have Win XP SP 3
and Win 7 Ultimate n installed in the 160 GB disk. Is it possible to somehow
clone or copy the OSEs to the new disk without using the media. I have
damaged the Win 7 DVD.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Some disc manufacturers will give you a cloning software with the drive.
Something to migrate your data to the new one. You may have to
download it from their site.

There are 3rd party clone programs, Acronis True Image Home is the one I
use. It will clone 1 to many partitions on one drive to another.
You have the ability to auto resize or manually resize the destination
partitions. I've had good luck with it.

Use google to find more disk clone software. ATIH is not free but I
think the 15 day demo is not crippled.

Read Big Al's answer, but also consider not copying to the new drive
at all. Simply install the 500GB as a second drive. You will then have
660GB instead of 500GB.
