strange problem with win automatic hiding ntfs partition

Szymon

Hello.
I have a strange problem. My ~160 GB disk was divided like this:
1. primary, ntfs, boot, 30 GB
2. primary, ext2fs, 22 GB
3. primary, ntfs 60 GB
4. primary, ntfs 40 GB
When I was intalling linux I deleted 2. partition, made there extended
and inside ext3 and swap.
After this I cannot access two ntfs partitions (3 & 4)under win (under
linux type of partition is 17 - hidden ntfs, when I change it to 7 -
ntfs, win hiddens it back).
Enybody konw what can I do to access these partitions?? Is it a win
limitation??

Get a copy of BootIT NG, from http://www.BootitNG.com ($35 shareware -
30 day full functional trial)

Download, to its own folder, extract from the zip, run the bootitng to
make a boot floppy.

Boot the floppy, Cancel Install, entering maintenance, then click on
Partition work. Highlight the NTFS partitions concerned in turn, click
Properties, click Unhide
