I wanted to install CA anti-spyware, but it gave me the information that my
computer does not meet the minimum system requirements. How I can upgrade the
system requirement?

Hi,

........I wanted to install CA anti-spyware but my computer does not meet
the minimum system requirements.

You'll probably need to contact Computer Associates to see what their
current minimum requirements are. http://www.ca.com/us/

Reconsider using CA; It's been out of favor for quite some time!

Excellent alternative:-

Avira AntiVir® Personal - FREE Antivirus

Windows Defender - Free

WD monitors the start-registry and hooks registers/files to prevent spyware
and worms to install to the OS.

"...Windows Defender did excel in behavior-based protection, which detects
changes to key areas of the system without having to know anything about
the actual threat."

Depends entirely on the "system requirements" established by the
program. Go checkout the program's requirements. Then you'll know what
you need to do regarding the OS and/or hardware.

You never described WHICH antivirus product from CA that you have.
Their enterprise version is described at:

http://www.ca.com/us/products/product.aspx?ID=156

Their consumer-grade version is described at:

http://shop.ca.com/virus/antivirus.aspx

Notice the System Requirements tab. Do you qualify?

I gave up on CA products many years ago. Besides installation problems,
their products sometimes simply become unresponsive and require either a
reboot or, if that doesn't work, uninstalling and reinstalling their
product. Even their tech reps didn't understand their own product and
could offer no solution other than uninstall and reinstall. Their help
expertise might've gotten better so try contacting them.

the
system requirement?

That depends on mostly three things.

First, what those requirements are;
Second, what your current system is, and whether it *can* be upgraded - this
is not guaranteed;
Third, whether the result is worth it.

You may find that it's a better bet to use another piece of software that
doesn't need you to spend yet more money, or to replace the system entirely.

As an example of the last point, yesterday I was buying a used system. One
of the systems on offer was a 3gHz Pentium 4, 512 meg ram with a 40 gig hard
disk and an XP Pro license. The cost, without keyboard, mouse or monitor,
was around CDN$200.

That $200 system is almost certainly capable of running any anti-spyware
app, and if your system is older and needs more memory, the cost of the
memory rivals or exceeds the cost of a faster and sufficient yet used
system.

Nobody can answer that with the little information you've provided.
What are the minimum requirements and in what respects don't you meet
them?
