install error

I thought my HD took a dump, but when I got a net drive
and started to reinstall OS, I'm getting a "error 4"
message and that setup can't complete. Anyone know what
is causing this error? Mem? motherb, Cpu? please help.

it could be a controller problem

but the first thing i;d prob do is run a RAM test
