Inserting filename plus page number in footerin Office 2007

How can I put both a filename and the page number in the footer. As soon as I
do an "insert page number", it eliminates the previous footer I have entered.

Both are provided by fields and the simplest method of ensuring you get what
you intend is to insert the fields manually into the footer and format them
as required.

For each pair of the field boundaries {} press CTRL+F9 and then you want
{Page} and {Filename} or {Filename \p} if you want the path also.

Press F9 to update the fields and if necessary Alt+F9 to toggle the display
to show the result.
