Inserting date automatically into the Message body

S

Simon Coffin

Greetings,

I am a newbie to building Outlook forms, so I apologize
for the simple question. I am trying to build a simple
form that will be used to send out an attachment every
day. Because its going to a wide distro and I cannot
gaurantee what system the recipient will be using, I have
to keep it simple. I would like to include code in the
message body portion to insert a date automatically,
actually yesterdays date. I have already created the
message, then went into Form Design and published it.

I saw the date picker on sliptstick, but that uses ActiveX
that is not loaded on our systems for security reasons.

Any alternatives?

Thanks
Simon

Key issue: You say this is for wide distribution and will be used to send attachments. Do you know for certain that all recipients will be using Outlook?
