I get this message when I try to play battlefield 1942. it also says to change my settings to 1280 x 1024- 60hz. My display is already set to those settings. my computer is a hp media center pc with a flat screen monitor. can anyone tell me how to fix this problem. the video card is a ati radeon x300 series. my computer excedes all the minimum requirements.

Dispite what the screen may be able to display ... it cannot display what the game is wanting. It is too high a setting for your screen.

You got two choices ... 1, lower the screen res in the game ... or 2, get a CRT monitor. ;)

HP should stick to making printers ... and even then they get it wrong.
