Info on NVIDIA DLS Synthesiser ?

Can anyone help with info about "NVIDIA(r) DLS
Synthesiser? It looks to be a MS component but i cannot
find any trace of info about it.

My Control Panel - Audio - MIDI Playback device is this
synthesiser and I am running a music studio (Computer
Muzys (CM Studio)) on the PC.

When I installed and configured CM Studio I
selected "NVIDIA DLS Synthesiser" as my MIDI output
hardware. CM Studio then set up 16 MIDI players using
this synthesiser. And it works.

(I have already tried the NVIDIA site but cannot find
anything.)

any details of the NVIDIA DLS Synthesiser
