Infected folder

Can the contents of the folder "C:\Documents and
Settings\*****\Local Settings\Temp" be deleted? Note this
is the TEMP file, not Temporary Internet file. The
contents of that folder I have all ready deleted. I
suspect a trogan resides in the temp folder.

Generally yes. Do so after a fresh reboot as long as you did not just
install some software that needed a reboot.
