Which Temp folders to delete?

Hi everyone, I know contents in the Temp folders can be deleted. What
about other Temp folders? Can I delete the contents in C:\Documents
and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp?

Thanks all.

There is this active temp folder only by default: Start > Run: %TEMP%
And by default, this is the folder as mentioned above depending on the
user being logged in.

Yes. I have a batch file that deletes the contents of my temp folders
on startup to keep things cleaned up. I put the shortcut into the
Startup folder which is the last processed item to startup, so any
installation routines will process first.

Opening the Temp from Start > Run > Temp and by opening the above path
showed different contents, thus different size. I'm just afraid that
deleting them will be detrimental.

What folder shows up when applying the command above and what other temp
folders are you talking about in paricular?
