Hi,
I have an Acer Aspire 3000 Series notebook with Broadcom Wireless
Network Adapter 802.11b/g (BCM4318 as i know), i want to update
drivers from device manager but whenever i try to update, i receive
this error: INF STYLE IS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT WAS REQUESTED.

I'm trying to update the official drivers which is on Acer's support
site:
http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_3000_5000.html
ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_3000_5000/driver/802bg.zip
- the direct link of driver

I don't know how happened, the current version is the same but the
name of the driver is in Turkish language as my country is. I want to
update the original language and driver to the language, where i
bought the computer (from USA).

What is the solution of this message? Is updating from device manager
inappropriate?

Thanks in advance.

Regards...

Did you buy the Network Adapter in Turkey? I suspect that you may have to work
with Acer support, and see how to get a driver that supports English. I'd bet
that Acer Europe defaults its drivers to local language.

Hi Chuck,
First. thank you for your reply. No, i bought the computer from USA
and the adapter is built-in. However i solved that problem by changing
everything to English from Regional Settings in Control Panel.

Thanks.
