Index Missing In Help/Support

Whenever download critical updates
- Oct./03 Cumulative Patch for IE6 SP1 (KB828750) and/or
- Apr/03 Cumulative Patch for OE6 SP1 (330994)
the Index in Help & Support disappears and nothing but an
icon in upper left-hand corner. Also if click on Related Topics,
continuous *note* icons appear.

MS hasn't been of much help and none of fixes have seen including
ones on Kelly's site didn't work. Any info on how to get the Index
back would be appreciated, short of using System Restore.

Have you seen these fixes from an earlier post?

Try to reinstall Help and Support:
C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\Binaries\helpctr.exe there is the cmd line.

And if you have SP1 this will reinstall it
C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\Binaries\hscupd.exe
