Index/Contact Sheet of photos with file names at the bottom

I am using Windows XP Pro.

I want to be print a contact sheet of photos with the file name showing at
the bottom.

I would like to be able to choose how many .jpg I can print per page. I
find the small index sheet a little too small to read. I would like to print
larger thumbnails maybe 4, 6, 8 per page with the file name at the bottom.

Is this feature possible?

Is there a file setting I have to change (maybe tick of a check mark) to
include file names on photos.

The free photo editing program called Irfanview (www.irfanview.com) comes with a second program
called Irfanview Thumbnails that will do just what you want.
