Incorrect margins

I am using word 2002 SP3 and have recreated Normal.dot to try and eliminate
the following problem.
The printer is configured with A4 paper.
When I change the margins of the paper from the default to 1.5 cm all round
and I prompted with the Fix/Ignore dialogue because we are outside the
printable area, and the fix increases the bottom margin to 9.3 cm!

Any ideas?

What printer driver are you using? If it is HP then there is a bug in
some of the printer drivers. Obtain a beta driver from:
http://www.hp.com/pond/ljbeta/index.html and see if that resolves the
problem.
