How do I set the margins for MS Word 2003?

Every time I try to print a document in Word 2003, I get the message: "One or
more margins are set outside the printable area of the page. Choose the Fix
button to increase the appropriate margins".

So, when I press the "fix" button, it changes the margins to:

Top: 1", Bottom: 5.67", Left: 3.32", and Right: 1.5". Why?

The allowable margins are fixed by the printer driver. HP had some issues
with printer driver margins a while back. If yours is an HP printer checkout

Yes, but these margins are totally unreasonable. This message may well be
generated by the columns bug.
