incomplete installations

I am trying to remove programs off my Pc but the system keeps telling me
there is another installation in progress and for me to complete the
installation before proceeding.
How do I find out what the installation is that needs to be completed?

Restart your PC and try again, if that doesn't help, open Task Manager, and look at what is running under the Processes tab. If you see something that looks like it is trying to do its thing, end that process, and try again.
