When I open outlook after booting up my computer, the
incoming mail address under servers in my account info
has reset to localhost from what should be a
pop3.server.net address. My account name also adds
a "/local host" after my name. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Uncheck the mail scanning option of your anti-virus.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Ed asked:

This is the good old anti-virus, what Milly has stated is correct but you
will need to remove the account from outlook and re-add it for the servers
not change to local host again!!!
