incoming mail

my mail comes to my in box and it posts in a screwed up order can somebody
help thanks
 
And the mail box would be contained in what email app?
'Screwed up' is really explanatory
 
LOL, I think a click on a column header would get carl his 'sort'.
Communicating that is another question :/
