Warning for users about HMRC

Both my wife and I have had emails proporting to come from HMRC telling you that they you have overpaid on your Income Tax and request to fill attached form. DO NOT reply to these emails they are a scam JUST DELETE. The HMRC will only contact you via Royal Mail Post.
 
Yup, had them fairly regularly over the last couple of years. Never opened, straight in the bin. :D
 
I've also received those and a variety of others sometimes displaying enough imagination for me to wonder if they're for real. But I haven't been caught out for some years now.

And actually, I have had emails from HMRC, cos I'm VAT-registered. But very rarely, I must admit.
