Incoming Mail Format Problem

All my incoming mail is in simple text format. In these emails any email addresses or weblinks are not live links which I can click on directly. Therefore, I have to cut + paste email addresses from forms to reply to them.

I've tried Tools-Options-Mail Format but this only allows for composing messages not receiving them. I've also tried Options-Preferences-"Read all standard mail in plain text" - This is NOT checked.

If I forward such mail to a Hotmail account the links in the email are live so I don't understand why they aren't live in Outlook.

You didn't mention your Outlook version or whether these links are fully
qualified, i.e. mailto:[email protected] or just include name@domain.
