incoming email Ok outgoing email not working outlook 2003

incoming email working but outgoing email suddnely stopped. Outlook 2003. now
asking for password. tried regedit, did not fix???

Do you get any error message? Also, do you mean that you're being prompted
for authentication on outgoing mail items? Might your ISP/mail server
changed something?

No. Got error message unable to delete file??? I'm using XPpro. Tried chkdsk. tried Outlook express still asking for password when sending?

Outlook error message is 0x80042109. Regedit error: Cannot delete, error while deleting key. Not ISP, private account working Ok. Don't expect Mailserver because another colleague was accessing Ok same day I had problem and he's still Ok today?

It's a shot in the dark but have you tried deleting & readding your mail
account?

Mailserver because another colleague was accessing Ok same day I had problem
and he's still Ok today?

If Outlook Express is also demonstrating the issue, it's apparently an ISP
problem, not an Outlook problem.

We are also having this problem. I do not get any kind of error message that
I can find. The emails just hang in the Outgoing folder.
