Sending Issues

Working with Office 2007/2003 On the same day I found that my outboxes
would not clear. The send/recieve button was used a number of times but no
success. The error message was that the outgoing server is not responding.
Outlook is configured with a third party web based email service. The
incoming/outgoing server names were checked and confirmed. Email service was
called. If one can send directly from th webmail site they acknowledge no
responsibility. I have gone through detect & repair as well as diagnostics
with no issue reported. Is there some exploit that could be involved?
Incoming mail is not affected. Guidance sought.

What type of account do you have configured in Outlook? Did it work in the
past? Have you rebooted the computer since it started acting up?

And who is this third party mail provider?
And if you start Outlook 2007 using the safe switch does the problem remain?
